The Trail System
We maintain over 30 miles of ITS Connector & club trails connecting to four neighboring clubs, the Readfield Blizzard Busters, the Thirty Mile River Club in Wayne, the Cochnewagan Trailblazer’s in Monmouth, and the Manchester Country Riders.
This is how Maine can offer over 14,000 miles of snowmobile trails each season. All the volunteers in more than 300 clubs work as hard as we do, and each spring our efforts melt away. You are critical for the trails continued success. Use the trails responsibly. If you are riding a snowmobile, ride defensively, ride to the right, ride at a reasonable speed, use hand signals, ride sober, be respectful of other trail users, and don’t litter. If you are using the trails for other recreation purposes, Welcome. Please be careful at intersections, corners and bridges, and carry out what you carry in. If you encounter difficulties please signal any passing snowmobile operator and ask for help. They may appear intimidating in all their cold weather gear and helmet, but they will be pleased to lend you a hand. |
